I use PHP all the time. It is surprising that anybody would have difficulty understanding, such a basic programming concept.

However; thinking back to when I started learning how to program, I can remember that the most simplest problem, often caused me the most grieve.

It is only over time, that we accumulate the knowledge to move forward. We must remember not to put down anyone. As a professional I tend to forget, how hard it was to learn new skills.

The if and case statements are the foundation, for anything your trying to do.

I mostly work in javascript and php. I started out building websites using Visual Basic, but found that ASP.net was two slow.

After some research, I found I soon found out that PHP was popular, and started using it.

It was like night and day. I've decided that I'll only go back to asp.net if I absolutely have to; although, there are certain things that you need ASP.net for.
